Happy Diwali!

Here is a traditional Gujarati thali dish that my Mum made to celebrate Diwali this year – it’s full of delicious vegetarian foods; chickpea curry, potato and aubergine, dhal, rice, puris, dhokla, poppadum, then something sweet with the rice pudding and a ladu.

I hope everyone who celebrated had a lovely day with their loved ones, sharing the joy of each other’s company and the fireworks tonight, to of course the lovely food we ate, whilst looking forward to moving into the New Year (which is tomorrow) with happiness, positively and with great hope that we can accomplish the things we desire.
